Cover Trilogy

The cover of volume 10 (a photograph by Maxime Wennegers) consciously breaks with the logic of triptychs, as it is a single piece closing the series and marking the ten-year anniversary of the journal.

The cover intends to impart a maximum of information regarding Tsantsa: a strong presence of a human being (male, female, or both, playing with androgyny as before), and a 180° scanning (an image that shows/showing the sides of a human rather than only certain aspects). The result is, somehow, a ghostly image that plays with presence and absence. The subject of humanity is the question asked by anthropologists, but it can’t be the answer.
